Mule It

Hey there

With Fashion always doing its comebacks one can always predict what will be trending next but with this next trend I totally forgot about it and just didn't forsee a comeback.

 Mule, is a style of shoe that is backless and often closed-toed. Mules can be any heel height - from flat to high. The style is predominantly (but not exclusively) worn by women. It's is a classic shoe that you can wear with anything and everything, especially when its warm, they are the easiest shoes to slip on come day or night. Heeled mules especially look great with cropped trousers or midi skirts because they don’t have an ankle strap cutting up the silhouette.

To be honest I am not excited about it even thou I have seen really amazing chic mules from pointy to peeptoe on blogsphere it just does not scream..." You need me"

You might agreee with me and say this trend we should all miss but one thing I can asure you is that .....the mule is here to stay for probably the next two seasons. Mules from various designers, styles and colour were gracing the runway so its safe to say they may be dubbed the " IT-Shoe" for 2014 Carrie Bradshaw would be so proud

So do you think we should start a campaign so that designers can stop making mules happen??

Heel-less shoes

Hey everyone

Growing up i always puzzeled over what the next evolution of shoes will be especially high heels..but they just got higher and thinner and the older i got the higher my heels got. The most common question asked by the elders were " How do you walk in those?" my reply was always while strutting my lastest pair of shoes "that it wasn't even that high and ran my fastest in heels" obviously lying through my teeth, hoping not to be dared.
However Guiseppe Zanotti and many other designers like Jeffery Campbell created an OTT shoe with no heel, wonder what the elders would ask after seeing that, beacuse im still blown-away how anyone can actually walk in..."Her feet be killing her, I call it SHOEICIDE, looking good has it sarificies "

As fabulous as this trend is its obvious that not everybody will go ga-ga over it but one thing for sure, its steaming hot on the red carpet with celebs.

My Winter Shoe Game

I know its kinda late for the Winter Boots post but who cares, they are still cold fronts approaching..well i think and guess what??  I will be ready *evil laugh* Anyway here are my *TOP 5 BOOTS* in my shoe closet:

                                                                          NUMBER 5:

 

My flat black knee-highs that i bought at Aldo are on the verge on running away because i have been wearing them alot, i actually feel sorry for them, they must be tired, they are sooo worn out shame but i still love them.

          Number 4 :

These nude suede ankle boots i bought at Castello on sale about two years ago and they still look brand new and  extremly comfortable...you could run in them, yeah i have done that *hides* I wear them with basically everything cause the colour allows it but they get dirty too quickly aaarggh.


                                                                            NUMBER 3:

These maroon suede peep-toe boots are from Castello and i wear these all year long..the peep-toe makes it soo easier to also wear whenever but obviously not when its blazing hot..my favourite way to wear them are with cut-off denims but iv retired that look by now.

                                                                      NUMBER 2:

I can not get over my black thigh-high leather boots bought at Castello, i do not wear them that much but i totally love them and i wear them with everything from jeans, leggings you name it..you can NEVER go wrong with Black boots and it should be a key stable item in your winter wardrobe they just complete the outfit.

                                                                      NUMBER 1:

These are totally my FAVE boots..eish and the way these pictures are not doing justice to them...i swear they are HOTT..yet another pair from Castello i should be having shares by now with all the Castello shoes i have..anyway its actually going to be sad when i have to pack them away since Spring is approaching...i love the fact that they are super high and i tower over everyone when i wear..ok not everyone but some people.

So those were my TOP 5 Winter Boots that kept me warm during those unbearable cold days and nights and its about that time where i have to pack them away till we meet again next Fall/Winter
