Sparkle & Shine: MIMCO LAUNCH PARTY

To celebrate the arrival of Mimco in South Africa, Mimco partnered with Grazia to host us to an evening of sparkle and shine last week Thursday in Sandton City. We were treated to yummy treats and some bubbly as the hosts Pearl Thusi and the Grazia fashion editor gave a presentation of the new season collection... AND... All guests were given a 20% discount on all items on the night. So you know I was not going to miss it.. hahaha!

Mimco is an iconic Australian accessories brand, that includes shoes, jewellery, sunglasses, bags, watches just to mention a few. Its available at Woolworths, Mimco standalone stores and selected Witchery standalone stores.

Crushing on the Celine " Trapeze" Bag

Hey Fashion Lovers

How is everyone doing? Its mid-week and I am extremely exhausted..can Friday come already!!
 I've been dreaming about all things Céline especially my latest obsession The "Trapeze" Bag.

Yes, I am such a bag lady.... cue Erykah Badu and if its one of those hot totes that I can throw my whole life in then its a major bonus.

This Céline's Luggage tote is the edgy answer to the Birkin, then the Trapeze is the Kelly’s more flamboyant counterpart which retails at approximately at $ 3 000 which is R 24 000...I know for sure i will  only being seeing this bag in my dreams. Single-handled with a large flap, it’s more streamlined and elegant than the Luggage, which, while appealing, verges on the cluttered side which is so not typical. It has the foundation of a traditional tote—the classic square-ish shape and simple foldover closure which is good—but clearly, this bag is anything but traditional see for yourself below.

Christmas is around the corner and I know I have been good so putting this on my wish-list would not hurt right?

House of Harlow 1960 Handbags

So we all know by now that thee uber-stylish Nicole Richie has a jewlery line and last season she added  sunglasses, shoes and now handbags to the list. " Handbags have always been a part of the equation since we first launched the House of Harlow 1960 brand.".... Im having flashbacks of the hilarious choas that was Nicole and Paris Hilton in The Simple Life, how i miss that show.

The 14- piece collection, which will range in price from R 1 015  for a red, hard-cased crocodile-printed clutch to R 4 210 for a taupe and ivory burn-out pony hair hobo, with fringe details, studs, velvet and lots more im loving them already. The style icon recently told WWD " The collection is quite small in terms of styles we are launching with. I wanted to make sure that each piece is special and then be able to grow it slowly and organically season after season."

 I am soo inlove with the goldish clutch with the studs..which is your favourite??
