I always get excited about events that are solely about fashion because there aren't that many in Joburg. So when I heard Skip is having another fashion exchange in my city I knew I had to get involved. The Skip Fashion Exchange is a fashion event where guests are invites to bring 3 loved fashion items which they would like to exchange with other guests for items that they might like. This grand fashion exchange allows women to access other woman's wardrobes using their clothes, instead of money. The evening includes a host of fun entertainment, delicious food and great fashion advice... You wanna be a part of it right?!! Well heres how:

BALMAIN men's ready-to-wear Spring 2015

Olivier Rousteing is KING, he is the BEYONCE of fashion. At first glance you would he is model but naah, he is the Creative Director of Balmain if you still don't know. He is only 27 years but he work is of another galaxy I tell you. I'm obsessed with him, stalk him on Instagram and like all his pictures hahaha!

His most recent collection, Balmain men's RTW Spring 2015 was previewed this week in Pais and Roustein revealed that for this "sport couture" collection he drew inspiration from Seventies era sports icons of downhill skiing, motorcycle racing and Formula1... The collection is filled with beautiful bold colours but the key colours are red, black and white. It also features open-toe mountain boots, jogging pants, hoodies and Perfecto jackets.

Fashion News: Lupita covers Vogue

Somebaaaady screeeeeeaaaammmm!!!! Our girl is on the cover of Vogue, July 2014 issue photographed by Mikael Jansson... Yaass! Can you say epic fashion moment?!!! I totes knew it thou, it was only a matter of time that THIS would happen. To think it has only been a year since she broke into the scene, haaa no star shines brighter!

Sparkle & Shine: MIMCO LAUNCH PARTY

To celebrate the arrival of Mimco in South Africa, Mimco partnered with Grazia to host us to an evening of sparkle and shine last week Thursday in Sandton City. We were treated to yummy treats and some bubbly as the hosts Pearl Thusi and the Grazia fashion editor gave a presentation of the new season collection... AND... All guests were given a 20% discount on all items on the night. So you know I was not going to miss it.. hahaha!
