5-Day Swag featuring Kiersten Heath

Hello there fashionistas

I hope you all are well, I know its beeeeeen ages since we been keeping you in the loop about all things fashion but you all are not forgotten and we always appreciate the love and support that is given. Our inbox has been piling up with more of the 5day swag post requests and its not easy doing them since the likes of insta has been doing that for us...hahahaha I am not hating on instagram thou and should give props because we have discovered alot of underrated fashionistas. We would appreaciate it if you could email us more and informing us if you know of any underrated fashion freaks that we can feature.

What caught my attention is one particular reader that requested we feature more plus size and curvy fashionistas because she feels alienated by straight sized features and can not get inspired.Be the best that YOU can be. Does not matter what your size is just rock it with pride. Stay positive and surround yourself with positive people.

Well let me introduce you to style blogger Kiersten, a 23 year old, fashion-forward, voluptuous and incredibly loud in quiet areas, college student.
” Although, I make sure I have fun with the pieces by adding tons of prints, because that’s what fashion is!”

" I chose to cap off the look with nude heels and a silver choker and cuffs, just for a more modernistic feel. I love the flow and joyfulness of the outfit, although it can be worn at more serious places like work. "

" Crop tops. They are THE go-to piece this summer. The thing about them though, is the fact that a little skin will be shown, which is not really my thing. But I've noticed some curvy ladies on blogs and Instagram sporting the crop top tastefully, so I said to myself, what the heck?! I can too! Well, maybe. My tummy doesn't look the way I want it to, so I pulled the skirt up a bit more and it seemed to do the trick. I recommend them to you ladies, just make sure your feeling confident that day because heads will be turning! "

" Spots, neons and circle skirts...oh my! This look today is the epitome of fun and comfort. The top is so roomy, the skirt is so short and the heels aren't that high, so the feeling is sexy, yet breatheable. The entire outfit is inspired by the multilayered necklace that infuses lime green, turqoise and mint, so that's why I wanted to play with the pieces a bit."

Trending: Pom Poms

Fashion lovers how you doing?

Did you all love the fashion at the MET Gala that took place on Monday, who was your best dressed, please check out our instagram page to see pics of who wore what.

The pom pom trend has caught my eye and I'm loving it because I believe an accessory always makes an outfit look major HAUTE adding that distinctive touch and with an over-sized pom pom you will never go wrong. I spotted Mira Duma  recently at this season's Spring 2013 Couture shows, loved every outfit but what stood out to me was the pom poms she she had on her coats and I knew instantly that its gonna be a trend that will follow but most important I thought it was a  very fashionable and cute way to accessorize your winter coats and beanies adding some glamour, and a playfull edge.

As I did my research I learned that the particular  fur pom pom is actually a brooch from Russian designer Viva Vox fall 2012 collection which were feature on the front and shoulders of coats.

So all we accessorising our coats this winter with some over-sized pom pom or something unique like that to add a playful edge even if its a DIY ? Please comment below and let me know what you think of this trend

SAFW: The Sheer Glamour Show

Hello my fashion slaves…

Last Friday night my partner in fashion and I headed to Rosebank’s Crowne Plaza hote for SA Fashion Week, The Sheer Glamour Show; showcasing latest Spring/Summer 2013/14 hair and fashion trends. A collaboration between hair stylists, Ntato Mashishi who is associated with Motions and Matthew Mansor, a local TRESemme stylist; and fashion designers; Gert-Johan Coetzee, Stoned Cherri, Vesselina Pentcheva, Clive Rundle, Rubicon, Black Coffee, Suzaan Heyns, Muntsho and Terrence Bray.

I have to admit when I got the invite and the venue read Crowne Plaza I was a bit concerned about the space capacity, it’s not a big hotel and for the life of me I could not imagine how they were going to execute such a large event. To my surprise the space seemed sufficient for the number of guests that attended, except for parking which was a nightmare. The show did start late (what fashion show doesn’t) because of jammed sliding doors dealing to the marquee (don’t ask).

Ok enough yada yada, let me not bore you with uncessary details…
